GLIT - Privacy Policy

GLIT is an Android photo editing app developed by Nobu Labs di Riccardo Porcu. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use GLIT. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. Please read this policy carefully. By using GLIT, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

• No personal sign-in or registration: GLIT does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details (such as your name, email address, or contact information). We do not collect personal identifiers directly from users.
• Usage and crash data: we use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymized usage statistics, such as how often you use the app and which features you use. We also use Firebase Crashlytics to collect information about app crashes or errors, including device model, operating system version, and crash logs. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. It helps us improve app performance and fix bugs.
• Advertising data: GLIT displays advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect information like your device’s advertising ID, IP address, operating system, device type, and location (if enabled) to serve relevant ads. All advertising data collection is handled by Google under its privacy policy; we do not control or share this data ourselves.
• Subscription and payment data: we use the RevenueCat SDK to manage your GLIT Pro subscription purchases. RevenueCat receives information related to your subscription status and purchase history (for example, purchase dates and subscription type). However, we do not receive your credit card or financial details. All payments and payment information are handled and processed securely by Google Play.
• Local device data: any photos, images, or editing projects you create and/or save with GLIT are stored only on your device. We do not upload or transmit your personal images, projects, or files to any server. You retain full ownership of the photos and projects you create.

Use of collected information

• We use the collected data only to operate, maintain, and improve GLIT. Analytics data helps us understand app usage, and crash reports help us diagnose and fix problems.
• Advertising data is used only to serve ads within the app.
• Subscription and payment data is used only to manage and verify your in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Third-party services (Google and RevenueCat) may collect and process data as described in their own policies.

Data security

GLIT does not collect or store any personal data directly. All user data, including photos and projects, remains on the user’s device. These services store data on their own servers and manage it under their respective privacy and security policies.
We may access anonymized or aggregated information provided by these services (e.g., usage statistics, crash logs, or subscription information) solely to improve app performance and user experience. These third-party services may store and process your data on servers located outside your country of residence.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal requirements. We will update the "Effective date" at the top of this policy when we make changes. You should review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of GLIT after we post changes means you accept and agree to the updated policy.
